MECHANICAL CUTTER CRINKLES

AceCo offers crinkle slicing and crosscut knives for a number of today’s most common mechanical cutters from Urschel, FAM and others. We offer the standard crinkle shapes of the competitors at better prices, but also work with customers to develop custom, high-amplitude crinkle forms to create distinct or unique crinkle-cut products.

HYDRO-CUTTING CRINKLES

AceCo offers crinkle (i.e., corrugated) water knives for use in a wide range of hydro-cutting systems. AceCo can make a customer’s existing crinkle knives at lower cost, design and make knives to replicate an existing product or work with a customer to create knives for an entirely new product. AceCo can also make tunnel blocks or knife trees if needed and fit them into the customer’s hydro-cutting system.

WEDGE CRINKLES

Like knives for crinkle fry cuts, AceCo offers crinkle wedge knives for use in a wide range of hydro-cutting systems.

CUSTOM CRINKLES & SPECIALTY CUTS

AceCo also designs and makes crinkle shapes for specialty or highly customized applications. AceCo can design and fabricate knives, tunnel blocks, holders and cutting assemblies to make waffle cuts, crinkle slabs, scoops and other distinctive shapes.

CRINKLE SHAPE DESIGN

The defining features for any crinkle shape are the amplitude and pitch. Once these dimensions are defined, a knife design can be built around them to turn an idea into a finished crinkle-cut product.

A- Amplitude is the height of the crinkle. Amplitude is specified for the knife, while the actual amplitude of the finished cut may be smaller depending on the product, processing conditions and other non-knife factors.
B- Pitch is the distance between the peaks of the crinkle form.

AceCo also designs and makes crinkle shapes for specialty or highly customized applications. AceCo can design and fabricate knives, tunnel blocks, holders and cutting assemblies to make waffle cuts, crinkle slabs, scoops and other distinctive shapes.
